Bordeaux Insider is the personal blog of an American living in Bordeaux.

A child of the world, Daina Paulin is a native of Arizona who has worked in the wine & spirits industry as a journalist, editor, tour guide and brand manager.  Her love of wine has taken her from the terroirs of Burgundy to the terraced steps of Côte-Rôtie to the bodegas of Argentina.

She has worked for publications such as Wine Republic in Mendoza, the Beverage Media Group in Manhattan and the iconic La Maison du Whisky in Paris.

Relocated to Bordeaux in 2012, she is now working at Chateau Haut-Bailly in Pessac-Léognan.
